| Natural cell protection from oxidative

|
| The
French paradox is the observation that the French suffer a relatively low
incidence of coronary heart disease, despite having a diet relatively rich in
saturated fats, superine lour, sugar, cheese and so on. The reason for this
being is probably the consumption of red wine. Red wine is rich in
anti-oxidative substances like anthocyanins. Anthocyanins are of vital
importance. Plants synthesise these water-soluble colourful substances for many
reasons. For example, anthocyanins protect from oxidative stress due to
UV-light of the sun. Anthocyanins act as powerful anti-oxidants. By ingesting
food rich in anthocyanins, we can beneit from the anti-oxidative eficacy as
well: |
