ABOUT US

Noma (Complex Homoeopathy) Ltd

Formed in 1984, Noma is fronted by Sylvia Austen who offers a professional service to the world of complementary medicine. With a small team of employees operating out of a business centre in the heart of Southampton, Noma represents quality.

Supplying only qualified practitioners, Noma acts as sole agent for PASCOE products and VEGA testing equipment (medical devices for diagnosis and therapy) and provides professional VEGA training.

The VEGA Test Method

This is one of the systems capable of use within the field of Bio-electronic Regulatory Medicine (BER Medicine). It originated from electro-acupuncture according to Voll (EAV), which is based on measuring evoked electrical conductivity by the application of an electrode which passes 0.87 volts in a positive polarity, direct current, into specific acupuncture points. The VEGAtest requires the patient to hold a hand-held electrode. Instead of using specific acupuncture points, one point at the end of a finger or toe is used and an ampoule derived from an organ in the body is used as the main diagnostic indicator. In EAV the so-called indicator drop is the cardinal electrical abnormality, in the VEGAtest the disorder control is the indicator of dysfunction.

The VEGAtest device can be used for food testing whereby at least 50 foods can be tested at each consultation, using the same measurement procedure as for diagnosis and medicine testing.

Imported from Schiltach in Germany, Noma's VEGA range comprises a number of diagnostic and therapy units, a computerised segmental electrogram, an oscillation therapy unit, a metabolism test and therapy unit and an original matrix-regeneration-therapy unit. Various test sets and accessories are available too.

Acupuncture Products

Noma is also a major UK supplier of acupuncture products ranging from HWATO and CLOUD & DRAGON disposable metal needles imported from the Far East to auricular equipment, Moxa, lasers, acupuncture units, models and charts.

Herbals, Homoeopathics and Supplements

Pascoe and Kern Pharma are the two major ranges available via Noma. The extensive ranges of remedies are licensed and registered in their country of origin.

Pascoe's history started with a pharmacy at the end of the last century when pharmacist Friedrich Pascoe began to concentrate on homoeopathic and phytotherapeutic medical specialities. After years of research and development, Similiaplexes were introduced at the beginning of the 1960's.

Then as now the company continues to produce natural remedies and prides itself on the making of preparations of the highest quality for Therapists and those seeking relief.

More information is available from Pascoe's web site at www.pascoe.de

With over 21 years of experience within the growing field of complementary medicine, Noma's service and competitive pricing structure are both paramount to its continued growth, and reputation as a friendly, approachable company priding itself on its professional attitude and speed of delivery.
